Rutger Niers
Rutger is a co-founder and investor in Ideal, and serves as the CEO of Ideal and of the Edge OFS corporate group. Rutger has almost two decades of oil and gas services experience in executive roles at public and private companies. Prior to joining Ideal, he was the General Manager for the Completion Services division at FMC Technologies and held various executive roles at Pure Energy Services prior to its acquisition by FMC in 2012. Rutger has ten years of commercial banking experience with HSBC, where he earned his CFA designation. He also holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta.
